Title: Biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the ENDEAVOR during cruise EN505 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2012-04-12 to 2012-04-24 (NCEI Accession 0205142)
Abstract: This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the ENDEAVOR during cruise EN505 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2012-04-12 to 2012-04-24. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, speed over ground and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer, oxygen meter and transmissometer. These data were collected by Vernon Asper of The University of Southern Mississippi, and by University of Rhode Island; Graduate School of Oceanography as part of Ecosystem Impacts of Oil and Gas Inputs to the Gulf (ECOGIG). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data.
