| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the R/V Savannah during cruise SAV-16-36 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2016-10-23 to 2016-10-27. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, fluorometer and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Warren Mitchell of US DOC; NOAA; NMFS; Southeast Fisheries Science Center, and by Skidaway Institute of Oceanography as part of Southeast Fishery-Independent Survey (SEFIS). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. |
