| Abstract: | This dataset includes physical, profile, and underway data collected aboard the RV Nathaniel B. Palmer during cruise NBP1610 in the South Pacific Ocean from 2016-11-20 to 2016-12-16. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), SALINITY, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, and GPS. These data were collected by Ruth Curry of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company as part of Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI): Southern Ocean Array, Leg 3. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
