| Abstract: | This dataset includes navigational, physical, and underway data collected aboard the R/V Pelican during cruise PE20-24 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2020-06-01 to 2020-06-03. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, and LONGITUDE. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by Eric Aronchick of Woods Hole Group, and by Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium as part of WHG. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
