The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Physical trajectory profile data from glider glos_236 deployed by Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) in the Great Lakes from 2013-06-29 to 2013-07-11 (NCEI Accession 0242900)
Abstract: Slocum glider data were collected during a southern Lake Michigan deployment from 2013-06-29 through 2013-07-11. The glider initially deployed from Muskegon, MI and crossed the lake west to Milwaukee, WI. The glider then returned to Muskegon, MI. Note, the glider was deployed in areas of Lake Michigan with at least 30 m of depth. The glider collected vertical profiles of conductivity, temperature, depth, chlorophyll, colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM), and backscatter between depths of 0 and 115 m.

The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) received the data in this dataset from the Integrated Ocean Observing System's National Glider Data Assembly Center (IOOS NGDAC). The IOOS NGDAC received the data in one or more netCDF files comprising an entire glider deployment. The data are measurements of physical oceanographic properties such as temperature, salinity, conductivity, and density. The IOOS NGDAC checked the files for compliance to their netCDF file convention, aggregated the files into a single netCDF file, and then submitted the file to NCEI for long-term preservation.
