| Abstract: | This dataset includes navigational, physical, and profile data collected aboard the RV Nathaniel B. Palmer during cruise NBP1107 in the South Atlantic Ocean and Southern Ocean from 2011-11-18 to 2011-12-11. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, and bathythermograph - XBT. These data were collected by Teresa Chereskin of University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company as part of Dynamics and Transport of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current in Drake Passage (cDrake). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. |
