Abstract: This dataset includes physical and underway data collected aboard the BLUE HERON during cruise BH17-04 in the Great Lakes from 2017-06-14 to 2017-06-21. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U) and CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V). The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by Mihai Leonte of University of Rochester, and by University of Minnesota - Duluth as part of Chief Scientist Training. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession.
