| Abstract: | This dataset includes navigational, physical, and profile data collected aboard the R/V Laurence M. Gould during cruise LMG0808 in the Arctic Ocean, Banda Sea and others from 2008-06-24 to 2008-07-08. These data include LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include GPS and bathythermograph - XBT. These data were collected by Scott Ishman of Southern Illinois University, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company as part of Testing the Impact of Seasonality on Benthic Formanifers as Paleoenvironmental Proxies. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. |
