Abstract: This dataset includes physical and profile data collected aboard the LAURENCE M. GOULD during cruise LMG0603 in the South Atlantic Ocean and Southern Ocean from 2006-03-21 to 2006-04-04. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, SALINITY, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD. These data were collected by Taro Takahashi of Columbia University; Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company as part of Processes Driving Spatial and Temporal Variability of Surface pCO2 in the Drake Passage. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.
