| Abstract: | This dataset includes physical and underway data collected aboard the RV Atlantic Explorer during cruise AE1726 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2017-11-16 to 2017-11-21. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U) and CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V). The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by Rodney Johnson of Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences as part of BATS 10341 and HS 613234. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
