| Abstract: | This dataset includes current measurements, physical, and underway data collected aboard the POINT SUR during cruise PS1910 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2018-10-21 to 2018-10-30. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U) and CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V). The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by Adrienne Correa of Rice University, and by Moss Landing Marine Laboratories as part of Sylvan. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
