| Abstract: | This dataset includes current measurements, navigational, and other data collected aboard the F.G. Walton Smith during cruise WS19322 in the Gulf of Mexico and North Atlantic Ocean from 2019-11-18 to 2019-11-24. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, and GPS. These data were collected by Ian Smith of University of Miami, and by Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science as part of South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Project. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
