| Abstract: | This dataset includes current measurements, navigational, and other data collected aboard the RV Neil Armstrong during cruise AR63 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2021-11-26 to 2021-11-28. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, and bathythermograph - XBT. These data were collected by Joel Llopiz of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of Joint Program Student Cruise. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
