| Abstract: |
This dataset contains results of visual assessment of different whales, including sperm, sei, blue, and others. Along with whale survey, the observations also included dolphin survey. They were taken from R/V Yushin Maru No. 3 during 2014 IWC-Pacific Ocean Whale and Ecosystem Research cruise (5-th annual IWC-POWER cruise). This cruise is U.S. State Department MSR U2014-001 as part of the World Data Service for Oceanography. Data are included in the cruise report in PDF format. |
