| Abstract: | This dataset includes current measurements, navigational, and other data collected aboard the OCEANUS during cruise OC2108B in the North Pacific Ocean from 2021-08-21 to 2021-08-26. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by Jack Barth of Oregon State University; College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, and by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
