| Abstract: | This dataset includes navigational data collected aboard the R/V F.G. Walton Smith during cruise WS22055 in the North Atlantic Ocean on 2022-02-24. These data include LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include GPS. These data were collected by Denis Ilias of University of Miami, and by Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science as part of NSF Inspection. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. |
