| Abstract: | This dataset includes current measurements, physical, and underway data collected aboard the R/V Savannah during cruise SAV-16-01 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2016-01-06 to 2016-01-20. These data include CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U) and CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V). The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP and GPS. These data were collected by R. Wilson Laney of US DOI; Fish and Wildlife Service, and by Skidaway Institute of Oceanography as part of Striped Bass Winter Tagging Project/Langmuir Turbulence Measurements. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
