Abstract: This dataset includes physical and profile data collected aboard the RV Nathaniel B. Palmer during cruise NBP0301A in the Ross Sea, South Pacific Ocean and others from 2003-02-02 to 2003-02-20. These data include WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include bathythermograph - XBT. These data were collected by Philip Bart of Louisiana State University, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company as part of Relative Frequency and Phase of Extreme Expansions of the Antarctic Ice Sheets During the Late Neogene. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.
