| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical, and other data collected aboard the R/V Laurence M. Gould during cruise LMG1612 in the South Atlantic Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and others from 2016-12-03 to 2016-12-20. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER DENSITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, and irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer, and oxygen sensor. These data were collected by Elizabeth Shadwick of Virginia Institute of Marine Science, and by Raytheon Polar Services Company as part of Resolving CO2 System Seasonality in the West Antarctic Peninsula with Autonomous Observations/Wave Glider Deployment. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
