The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Chemical, navigational, and other data collected aboard the F.G. Walton Smith during cruise WS1010 in the Gulf of Mexico and North Atlantic Ocean from 2010-05-21 to 2010-06-11 (NCEI Accession 0104382)
Abstract: This dataset includes chemical, navigational, and other data collected aboard the F.G. Walton Smith during cruise WS1010 in the Gulf of Mexico and North Atlantic Ocean from 2010-05-21 to 2010-06-11. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance, speed over ground, and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, oxygen sensor, and transmissometer. These data were collected by Samantha Joye of University of Georgia; School of Marine Programs, and by Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science as part of RAPID Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill: Deep Pelagic and Benthic Impacts. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession.
