The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, salinity and SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE collected from underway - surface observations using Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement and other instruments from the Marcus G. Langseth in the Arctic Ocean, Beaufort Sea and others from 2010-05-07 to 2012-08-28 (NODC Accession 0109901)
Abstract: NODC Accession 0109901 includes chemical, physical and underway - surface data collected from Marcus G. Langseth in the Arctic Ocean, Beaufort Sea, Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska, Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, North Pacific Ocean and South China Sea (Nan Hai) from 2010-05-07 to 2012-08-28 and retrieved during cruise Marcus G. Langseth Lines. These data include Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, SALINITY and SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement. These data were collected by Taro Takahashi and S. Sutherland of Columbia University; Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and Colm Sweeney of University of Colorado At Boulder; Cooperative Institute for Research In Environmental Sciences as part of the VOS_Marcus_Langseth_Lines data set.

The Global Volunteer Observing Ship (VOS) Program is coordinated by the UNESCO International Ocean Carbon Coordination Project (IOCCP). International groups from 14 countries have been outfitting research ships and commercial vessels with automated CO2 sampling equipment to analyze the carbon exchange between the ocean and atmosphere.
