Title: Hydrographic observations over the Washington-Oregon continental shelf and slope from the Winter Spring (WISP) experiment, Feb 1975 to Mar 1975 (NODC Accession 0114634)
Abstract: This set of hydrographic casts are from the WISP project (WInter SPring experiment in the Washington-Oregon Continental Shelf and Slope during February- March 1975). The project included CTD temperature and salinity observations. The goals of the program are to quantify oceanographic features of the Continental shape and slope of Washington and Oregon states and to understand the nature of outer shelf and slope oceanographic phenomena. This project was supported by a grant to Dr. Barbara Hickey of the University of Washington from National Science Foundation Grant OCE 76-21508.
