The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: | Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, salinity and other variables collected from time series observations using Bubble type equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement, Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and other instruments from MOORINGS_CRESCENT_64W_32N and MOORING_CRESCENT_64W_32N in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2010-11-27 to 2015-12-31 (NCEI Accession 0117059) |
Abstract: | NCEI Accession 0117059 includes chemical, meteorological, physical and time series data collected from MOORINGS_CRESCENT_64W_32N and MOORING_CRESCENT_64W_32N in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2010-11-27 to 2015-12-31. These data include AIR-SEA DIFFERENCE - PARTIAL PRESSURE (OR FUGACITY) OF CARBON DIOXIDE, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, OXYGEN - PERCENT SATURATION, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, SALINITY and SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include Bubble type equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement and Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer. These data were collected by Nicholas Bates of Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences, Adrienne Sutton, Christopher Sabine and Sylvia Musielewicz of US DOC; NOAA; OAR; Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory and Andreas Andersson of University of California - San Diego; Scripps Institution of Oceanography as part of the Mooring_Crescent_64W_32N_Apr2013_Mar2014, Mooring_Crescent_64W_32N_Feb2012_Feb2013, Mooring_Crescent_64W_32N_Jul2014_Jul2015 and Mooring_Crescent_64W_32N_Nov2010_Feb2012 data set. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this data set: Cres20101127, Cres20120229, Cres20130417 and Cres20140721 The Global CO2 Time-series and Moorings Project involves international groups from 18 countries who have mounted sensors on moored buoys to provide high resolution time-series measurements of atmospheric boundary layer and surface ocean CO2 partial pressure (pCO2). The CO2 Time-series and Moorings Project is coordinated by UNESCO International Ocean Carbon Coordination Project (IOCCP). |

Supplementary information: | These data were acquired by NCEI from the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC) in accordance with an archival submission agreement between CDIAC and NCEI. The data provider requests citing these data as described in the Cross Reference Citation at: https://accession.nodc.noaa.gov/0117059 NCEI cannot verify the accuracy or availability of the data provider's citation information, which is maintained by the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC). In this accession, NCEI has archived multiple versions of these data. The latest (and best) version of these data has the largest version number. |
