Title: Phytoplankton and zooplankton samples taken from Russian vessels in the Caspian, Black, Azov, Barents, Kara, and White Seas from 1999 to 2011 (NODC Accession 0117462)
Abstract: Cruises took place from July 1999 to October 2011 in the Caspian, Black, Azov, Barents, Kara and White Seas. Russian vessels were used to collect data in the open sea. Small boats also used to collect data in the coastal zone. Cruises were part of the long-term Ecological Monitoring programs funded by the Russian Academy of Sciences. Plankton data were used for studying the influence of the environment on the state of the marine life.
