The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Oceanographic and surface meteorological data collected from Muskegon Buoy (45161) by NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory and assembled by Great Lakes Observing System (GLOS) in the Great Lakes region from 2014-07-23 to 2025-08-31 (NCEI Accession 0123651)
Abstract: This dataset contains oceanographic and surface meteorological data collected by NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory from Muskegon Buoy (45161), an in-situ moored station, in the Great Lakes. The data files are in netCDF format, following the Climate and Forecast metadata convention (CF) and the Attribute Convention for Data Discovery (ACDD). GLOS, which assembles data from NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory and other sub-regional coastal and ocean observing systems of the Great Lakes region of the United States, submitted the data to NCEI as part of the Integrated Ocean Observing System Data Assembly Centers (IOOS DACs) Data Stewardship Program.
