Title: |
Oceanographic temperature, salinity, pressure, current and other data collected from moorings, gliders and other platforms in the Sub Tropical North Atlantic Ocean and Red Sea during the Salinity Processes in the Upper Ocean Regional Study (SPURS-1) from 2011-10-19 to 2014-08-21 (NCEI Accession 0125198) |
Abstract: |
This dataset contains data collected during the Salinity Processes in the Upper Ocean Regional Study - North Atlantic Field Campaign (SPURS-1). The campaign consisted of a variety of observing assets. SPURS-1 took place in the subtropical North Atlantic in 2012-2014. The purpose of the experiment was to examine the processes responsible for maintaining the subtropical surface salinity maximum in the North Atlantic Ocean. |
