The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

| Title: | Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide, salinity and other variables collected from Surface underway observations using Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer, Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement and other instruments from Marcus G. Langseth in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2014-10-04 to 2014-10-15 (NCEI Accession 0144547) |
| Abstract: | NCEI Accession 0144547 includes Surface underway data collected from Marcus G. Langseth in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2014-10-04 to 2014-10-15. These data include BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, SALINITY and SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement. These data were collected by Taro Takahashi and Stewart Sutherland of Columbia University; Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory and Colm Sweeney of University of Colorado at Boulder; Cooperative Institute for Research In Environmental Sciences as part of the VOS_Marcus_Langseth_Lines_2014 data set. CDIAC associated the following cruise ID(s) with this data set: 33H320141004 The Global Volunteer Observing Ship (VOS) Program is coordinated by the UNESCO International Ocean Carbon Coordination Project (IOCCP). International groups from 14 countries have been outfitting research ships and commercial vessels with automated CO2 sampling equipment to analyze the carbon exchange between the ocean and atmosphere. |

| Supplementary information: | These data were acquired by NCEI from the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC) in accordance with an archival submission agreement between CDIAC and NCEI. The data provider requests citing these data as described in the Cross Reference Citation at: http://accession.nodc.noaa.gov/0144547 NCEI cannot verify the accuracy or availability of the data provider's citation information, which is maintained by the Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC). In this accession, NCEI has archived multiple versions of these data. The latest (and best) version of these data has the largest version number. |
