The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

| Title: | Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) Atlas: New Hampshire, maps and Geographic Information Systems data (NCEI Accession 0014789) |
| Abstract: | This dataset comprises the Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) data for the New Hampshire coast from 2003 to 2004. ESI data characterize estuarine environments and wildlife by their sensitivity to spilled oil. The ESI data include information for three main components: shoreline habitats, sensitive biological resources, and human-use resources. This atlas was developed to be utilized within desktop GIS systems and contains GIS files and related D-base files. Associated files include MOSS (Multiple Overlay Statistical System) export files, .PDF maps, and detailed user guides and metadata. |

DATA SET CREDIT: The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the New Hampshire Estuaries Project supported this project. Steve Croce with New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services served as contract manager for the project. Carroll Brown, Jr. and Lynn Woodard with New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services contributed significantly to the project, as did Phil Trowbridge with the New Hampshire Estuaries Project and individuals from several state and federal agencies and other organizations. At Research Planning, Inc. (RPI), Heidi Hinkeldey was the project manager. Lee Diveley performed the data processing under the supervision of Mark White, GIS Manager. Heidi Hinkeldey, Chris Locke, and Vermell Pyatt prepared the final metadata. Additional ESI Atlases for other regions of the U.S. have been archived at NCEI. A 2009 re-release of this atlas with other New England coastal atlases is archived under NCEI accession 0020555. |
