Title: Physical and nutrient data collected from CTD and bottle casts from the R/V HERMANO GINES from the continental shelf of Venezuela in support of the project: Carbon Retention in a Colored Ocean (CARIACO) from 16 March 2006 to 06 March 2007 (NODC Accession 0014920)
Abstract: CTD and bottle data were collected from the R/V HERMANO GINES on the continental shelf of Venezuela from 16 March 2006 to 06 March 2007. Data were collected by the University of South Florida in support of the Carbon Retention in a Colored Ocean (CARIACO) project. CTD parameters include temperature, salinity, and depth. Bottle parameters include concentrations nitrate, nitrite, dissolved oxygen, productivity, particulate organic carbon, particulate organic nitrogen and phosphorus.
