| Abstract: | NCEI Accession 0163289 includes navigational, physical and profile data collected aboard the Pelican during cruise PE12-03 in the Gulf of Mexico from 2011-07-24 to 2011-07-31. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD and GPS. These data were collected by Nancy Rabalais of Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium as part of Integrated Ecosystem Modeling of the Causes of Hypoxia (NGOMEX). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. |
