| Abstract: | NCEI Accession 0168110 includes navigational, physical and other data collected aboard the Neil Armstrong during cruise AR15 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2017-04-12 to 2017-04-29. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY and WATER TEMPERATURE. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS and bathythermograph - XBT. These data were collected by Magdelena Andres of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of An Observational and Modeling Study of the Physical Processes Driving Exchanges between the Shelf and the Deep Ocean At Cape Hatteras. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the NSF sponsored Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The XBT data submitted by the originator represent the raw data suite. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
