| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the BLUE HERON during cruise BH15-17 in the Great Lakes from 2015-10-05 to 2015-10-07. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, Chromophoric Dissolved Organic Matter (CDOM), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance, pH, speed over ground and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer, oxygen meter, pH sensors and transmissometer. These data were collected by Elizabeth Minor of University of Minnesota - Duluth as part of Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. |
