Title: Navigational, physical and other data collected aboard the Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS110922JP in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2011-09-21 to 2011-09-28 (NCEI Accession 0171788)
Abstract: NCEI Accession 0171788 includes navigational, physical and other data collected aboard the Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS110922JP in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2011-09-21 to 2011-09-28. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD and GPS. These data were collected by James Pierson of University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, and by University of Delaware as part of Hypoxia in Marine Ecosystems: Implications for Neritic Copepods. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program.

A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. The ADCP data represent the raw data set. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession.
