Title: Underway physical and meteorological data collected by NOAA Ship DAVID STARR JORDAN in the North Pacific from 2004-08-28 to 2004-09-06 (NCEI Accession 0001718)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship David Starr Jordan in the Northeast Pacific Ocean (limit-180), Coastal Waters of California, and North Pacific Ocean from 2004-08-28 to 2004-09-06. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
