The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Merged Data Files from WOD Ocean Station Data (OSD)(1800-2017) (NCEI Accession 0173410)
Abstract: The world ocean database (WOD) contains huge number of Ocean Station Data (OSD) during 1800-2017 with the one-to-one data structure, i.e., one file is for one OSD. From practical point of view, it is hard to access such huge number of files for data analysis and data assimilation. To make the WOD/OSD data easy to use, we merged the WOD/OSD data into three files. The MATLAB codes to get the profiles are also developed
