| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical, and other data collected aboard the R/V Hugh R. Sharp during cruise HRS090522TC in the New York Bight and North Atlantic Ocean from 2009-05-22 to 2009-05-30. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, CURRENT SPEED - EAST/WEST COMPONENT (U), CURRENT SPEED - NORTH/SOUTH COMPONENT (V), DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include ADCP, CTD, GPS, echo sounder, fluorometer, oxygen sensor, and transmissometer. These data were collected by Tsih Yang of US Navy; Naval Research Laboratory - Washington DC, and by University of Delaware as part of Acoustic Communications Measurement System (ACOMMS-09). The Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program submitted these data to NCEI. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. The ADCP data represent the raw dataset. Post processed quality assessed data are not available in this accession. |
