| Abstract: | This dataset includes biological, chemical and other data collected aboard the Clifford A. Barnes during cruise CB1036 in the Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia and North Pacific Ocean from 2015-09-08 to 2015-09-17. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE, course over ground, irradiance and speed over ground. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, GPS, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Richard Keil of University of Washington as part of PHOtosynthesis, Respiration, and Carbon-balance Yielding System (PHORCYS). The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NCEI as part of the Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. A suite of navigation products produced by the Rolling Deck to Repository program is included in this accession, which include one high resolution, one 1 minute resolution, and one low resolution coordinate file. R2R provides a processed version of the CTD data. |
