Title: Underway physical and meteorological data from NOAA Ship KA'IMIMOANA in the Pacific from 2005-02-19 to 2005-03-25 (NCEI Accession 0002165)
Abstract: This dataset contains real-time underway physical and meteorological data logged by the Scientific Computer System (SCS) aboard NOAA Ship Ka'imimoana in the Northeast Pacific Ocean (limit-180), Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, South Pacific Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, and Southeast Pacific Ocean (limit-140 W) from 2005-02-19 to 2005-03-25. Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) personnel aboard the ship submitted these data and associated metadata to the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). As part of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project, OMAO submits a standard suite of underway oceanographic and meteorological data collected during each cruise of a NOAA ship with SCS.
