Title: Reflectivity, Doppler attenuation, and other sea surface measurements taken from wide-swath radar altimeter from N43 aircraft in the North Atlantic Ocean by NOAA Physical Sciences Lab and Prosensing Inc. during the Atlantic Tradewind OceanAtmosphere Mesoscale Interaction Campaign (ATOMIC), Barbados, from 2020-01-17 to 2020-02-12 (NCEI accession 0220437)
Abstract: The Atlantic Tradewind OceanAtmosphere Mesoscale Interaction Campaign (ATOMIC) was a field campaign held January-February 2020 in the tropical North Atlantic east of Barbados. The campaign, the U.S. complement to the European field campaign called EUREC4A, was aimed at better understanding cloud and air-sea interaction processes. ATOMIC included measurements from a NOAA WP-3D Orion "Hurricane Hunter" aircraft, the research ship Ronald H. Brown, and unpiloted vehicles launched from Barbados and from the Ronald H. Brown.
