Title: Sediment grain size, PH, element analysis, and others collected from the Chinese coastguard patrol vessel Hai Ce 3301 in the North Pacific Ocean from 2017-05-18 to 2017-06-10. (NCEI Accession 0221886)
Abstract: This dataset contains sediment grain size, PH, element analysis, and others collected from the Chinese coastguard patrol vessel Hai Ce 3301 in the North Pacific Ocean. Study of bottom material at the south of Mariana Trench and surrounding area. The research objective of this voyage was to understand the paleo oceanographic sedimentary records of the region, and then to study the role of the region in the global climate change through the investigation of sediments and suspended particles in the southern Mariana Trench, the deepest sea area in the world.
