Title: Water temperature, salinity, sediment grain size and element analysis taken by CTD and bottom sampler from research vessel Xiang Yang Hong 10 in the North Pacific from 2017-10-10 to 2017-10-11. (NCEI Accession 0221974)
Abstract: This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, sediment grain size and element analysis taken by CTD and bottom sampler from the research vessel Xiang Yang Hong 10 in the North Pacific. The research objective of this voyage was to understand the paleoceanographic sedimentary records of the region, and then to study the role of the region in the global climate change through the investigation of sediments and suspended particles in the southern Mariana Trench, the deepest sea area in the world.
