Title: Animal-borne video logger observations, depth records, and krill length data from chinstrap penguins in the Southern Ocean from 2019-12-20 to 2020-01-31 (NCEI Accession 0239297)
Abstract: The data set includes raw video and dive records from two deployments of animal-borne instruments to monitor the diving and predation behaviors of free-ranging chinstrap penguins (Pygoscelis antarcticus) in Antarctica. Independent, manual annotations of the time-depth record to document dive and predation events observed in each video are provided. Finally, krill length data collected from stomach content sampling to characterize the prey field encountered by foraging penguins is included. A READ ME file documents key header information.
