The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Temperature, salinity, nutrients, oxygen, pH, and other measurements collected using bottle, CTD, XCTD, BT, from Kofu, Ryofu, Keifu, and other platforms in the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Japan during 2004 (NCEI Accession 0002643)
Abstract: Data Report of Oceanographic and Marine Meteorological Observations, No. 95, Jan-Dec. 2004. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has been carrying out oceanographic and marine meteorological observations on board research vessels, at the coastal water temperature observation stations and by ocean data buoys, for the purposes of the better understanding of dynamical processes of the oceanic general circulation affecting climate change, prevention and mitigation of natural disasters, and contributing to international cooperative activities.

Supplementary information: Manuscript form and CD-ROM received at World Data Center-Silver Spring April 2006. WDC for Oceanography, Silver Spring, is collocated with, and operated by, the U.S. National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC). In accordance with principles set forth by ICSU, WDC for Oceanography acquires, catalogues, and archives data, publications, and data inventory forms and makes them available to requesters in the international scientific community. Oceanographic data contributed to the WDC become automatically available to scientific investigators in any country. Thus, there can be no restrictions or limitations placed on data exchanged through the WDC system.
