Title: | Percent cover of coral and other sessile invertebrates at Caribbean reefs determined using the point-intercept method along transects in 2009 and 2011 (NCEI Accession 0277440) |
Abstract: | This dataset contains biological and survey - biological data collected at Caribbean_Coral_Reefs during deployment Coral_Bleaching_Dives_Weil in the Caribbean Sea from 2009-09-12 to 2011-12-01. These data include depth, species, and taxon. These data were collected by Ernesto F. Weil of University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez as part of the "Impact of the 2010 Caribbean Coral Bleaching Event: Assessing Changes in Coral Immune Function (Climate_Corals_Bleach_Disease)" project. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2023-01-23. The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO: Percent cover of coral and other sessile invertebrates at Caribbean reefs Dataset Description: Percentages of live cover of corals, octocorals, zoanthids, hydrocorals and sponges in reefs studied in 2009 and 2011 at Curacao, Grand Cayman, Genada, and Puerto Rico. |
