The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

Title: Meteorological and time series data collected from station aws_hnlpier1 by Pacific Islands Ocean Observing System and assembled by Pacific Islands Ocean Observing System (PacIOOS) in the North Pacific Ocean from 2019-04-04 to 2022-12-31 (NCEI Accession 0277748)
Abstract: This dataset contains meteorological and time series data in netCDF formatted files, which follow the Climate and Forecast metadata convention (CF) and the Attribute Convention for Data Discovery (ACDD). Pacific Islands Ocean Observing System collected the data from their in-situ moored station named aws_hnlpier1: PacIOOS Weather Station: Honolulu Harbor Entrance, Oahu, Hawaii, in the North Pacific Ocean. PacIOOS, which assembles data from Pacific Islands Ocean Observing System and other sub-regional coastal and ocean observing systems of the U.S. Pacific Islands, submitted the data to NCEI as part of the Integrated Ocean Observing System Data Assembly Centers (IOOS DACs) Data Stewardship Program. Each month, NCEI adds to this dataset the data collected during the previous month.

The Pacific Islands Ocean Observing System (PacIOOS) operates a Davis Instruments automatic weather station (AWS) near the entrance to Honolulu Harbor on the leeward (western) coast of Oahu in Hawaii to aid with navigation. The station records measurements every 5 minutes of air temperature, wind speed and direction, precipitation, relative humidity, and air pressure. Sensors are located at Pier 1, installed on a tower at an elevation of 64 feet (19.5 meters) above sea level. The station is owned by the Hawaii Pilots Association (HPA). PacIOOS maintains the station and provides data access.
