Title: Coral and sponge habitat models from bottom trawl surveys in the Aleutian Islands from 1991 to 2012 (NCEI Accession 0289893)
Abstract: Coral and sponge distribution, abundance, and diversity models were generated based off of data from bottom trawl surveys in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska from 1991-2011. Several parameters, such as depth, slope, sediment, and water temperature were used to predict the probability of different species of corals, sponges, and sea whips. These models were tested for validation on in-situ data from an additional bottom trawl survey in 2012.
