Title: Predictive models of the spatial distribution abundance models of corals and sponges in the Gulf of Alaska (NCEI Accession 0289894)
Abstract: Data from 1996-2013 biennial bottom trawl surveys was used to predict the distribution and abundance of coral and sponge ecosystems in the Gulf of Alaska through habitat suitability modelling. Parameters such as location, depth, slope, sediment, ocean currents, and water temperature were used to predict the presence and abundance of species.
