| Abstract: | This dataset contains biological, physical, and survey - biological data collected at Narragansett Bay, RI and Bermuda, Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study (BATS) on 2021-02-04. These data include animal_group, genus, growth, species, taxon_code, and water temperature. These data were collected by Tatiana A. Rynearson of University of Rhode Island as part of the "Dimensions: Collaborative Research: Genetic, functional and phylogenetic diversity determines marine phytoplankton community responses to changing temperature and nutrients (Phytoplankton Community Responses)" project and "Dimensions of Biodiversity (Dimensions of Biodiversity)" program. The Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO) submitted these data to NCEI on 2021-02-09. The following is the text of the dataset description provided by BCO-DMO: PFT Thermal Response - Thermal growth rates Dataset Description: Literature compilation of phytoplankton thermal growth rates for diatoms, dinoflagellates, coccolithophores, and cyanobacteria. Study selection followed the criteria outlined in Thomas et al. (2012) and Anderson et al. (in review). Original experimental methods can be found in cited literature.
