Title: NCEI Standard Project: International Ocean Atlas and Information Series Volume 8: History of the Arctic Exploration 2003: cruise reports, data (NCEI Accession 0304666)
Abstract: This collection contains data collected by Russian and former Soviet Union oceanographers from 1870 to 1941 years from Arctic Ocean and Arctic Seas. Most of these data were discovered from the archives not widely opened to the public that makes this atlas invaluable contribution to the international scientific community.

This archival package is a copy of the History of the Arctic Exploration atlas website containing html files, pdf files of cruise reports, data distribution maps, and data in comma separated value format.

NCEI decommissioned the International Ocean Atlas and Information Series Volume 8: History of the Arctic Exploration 2003 in May 2025 with no further updates. Comments and questions may be sent to: ncei.info@noaa.gov.
