The Ocean Archive System searches our original datasets as they were submitted to us, not individual points or profiles. If you want to search and retrieve ocean profiles in a common format, or objectively analyzed fields, your better option may be to use one of our project applications. See: Access Data

| Title: | Low resolution real-time physical trajectory profile data from glider ru33 deployed by Rutgers University Center for Ocean Observing Leadership (RU COOL) in the Mid-Atlantic Bight from 2025-09-03 to 2025-09-26 (NCEI Accession 0308806) |
| Abstract: | This dataset includes low resolution real-time physical trajectory profile data from glider ru33 deployed by Rutgers University Center for Ocean Observing Leadership (RU COOL) in the Mid-Atlantic Bight from 2025-09-03 to 2025-09-26. The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) received the data in this dataset from the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) National Glider Data Assembly Center (NGDAC). The IOOS NGDAC received the data in one or more netCDF files comprising an entire glider deployment. The data are measurements of physical oceanographic properties such as temperature, salinity, conductivity, and density. The IOOS NGDAC checked the files for compliance to their netCDF file convention, aggregated the files into a single netCDF file, and then submitted the file to NCEI for long-term preservation. Data files may be either low resolution real-time or full resolution. Full resolution files are designated as "delayed" in the netCDF file name. The data producer provided this summary: Deployment of a Slocum glider to perform seasonal surveys of dissolved oxygen concentrations in the shallow coastal waters of New Jersey. This deployment is part of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's yearly coastal waters oxygen monitoring efforts. This glider carried a CTD sensor, Seabird Scientific ECO triplet fluorescence-backscatter-chlorophyll a sensor, and Aanderaa dissolved oxygen sensor. |
